We're a chef-led, small-batch producer of speciality food and drink made in Forest Gate, East London. Our editions explore different culinary ideas and seasonality, spotlighting ingredients and producers we love.
We do things properly
We make by hand in small batches according to the seasons. We care about ingredient quality, provenance and integrity. For us that means working with produce when its at its best, knowing where things comes from and selecting ingredients for taste.
For the love of food
We're Nicola, a classically trained chef, and Melanie, sisters who believe eating well is living well. Food makes us happy, and we want the food and drink we make to be one of the best parts of your day.
Our grandparents, Ted and Margaret were apple farmers. Their farm, Little Trees was a second home to us growing up. It shaped the way we think about food and why we source directly from growers and independent producers as far as we can.
A chef's point of view
Nicola brings 20 years of culinary craft to every recipe we make. We use only real ingredients, which should go without saying. No preservatives. No questionable ingredients. No shortcuts. Just delicious food and drink people love.
